Things to do when your bored this summer

Sorry it has been a LONG time! Finals are this week but today we have the day off so I decided to go back to my blog that no one reads... OK so summer is so close and if your like me last summer, you will be stuck at home at some point and maybe me bored. Last summer I was bored 99% of the summer because I was stuck at home. So here a few ways to not be bored.
1. Ride a bike
2. Go for a walk.
3. Bring a camera with you and take pictures of nature
4. Clean your room
5. Bake/cook something
6. Make a bracelet or jewelry.
7. Go outside and tan (wear sunscreen!)
8. Go for a run
9. Find an old exercise tape and work out
10. If you can't find a work out tape, make up your own workout
11. Make a movie.
12. Build something
13. Practice a sport or activity you do.
14. Draw or sculpt something.
15. Move around furniture in your room.
16. Print out pictures of a band/singer/athlete you like and decorate your room.
17. Paint your nails
18. Experiment with makeup
19. Try to curl your hair.
20. Try on dresses you have and do your hair and makeup.

So those are just what I can think of off the top of my head. I'll be back more when exams are over!
Bye!

Butterfly Project

So I haven't blogged in FOREVER. The truth is that no one really follows this blog so I figured why bother and I also kind of forgot... But there has been a lot of things going on in my personal life that was not good at all. Anyways, I decided for my first real blog back (does that make sense?) I would talk about the butterfly project. Now the butterfly project is something that is something very amazing and I really wanted to tell more people about it. (If any one happens across this blog which I doubt.) So here are the rules about the butterfly project.

1. When you feel like you want to cut, take a marker, pen, or sharpies and draw a butterfly on your arm or hand.
2. Name the butterfly after a loved one, or someone that really wants you to get better.
3. You must let the butterfly fade naturally. NO scrubbing it off.
4. If you cut before the butterfly is gone, you’ve killed it. If you dont cut, it lives.
5. If you have more than one butterfly, cutting kills all of them.
6. Another person may draw them on you. These butterflies are extra special. Take good care of them.
7. Even if you don’t cut, feel free to draw a butterfly anyways, to show your support. If you do this, name it after someone you know that cuts or is suffering right now, and tell them. It could help.
You never know whos hurting.

I first heard about it when a friend of mine had a butterfly on her wrist and I asked her what it was for. She said that is was for someone she knew who was really depressed and she did it for them. (The butterfly can be for depression too I guess.)  So I just wanted to raise awareness for this and if you know someone who is cutting or is depressed please try to help them. They need you more then they think they do.

Curling your hair

Merry Christmas! So I got a curling iron (new one. mine broke) and I just tried it out. It is amazing. It is a wand curling iron and I love it. If you want to get curls that look like Taylor Swift's then this is the curling iron for you! Make sure you get a WAND one. The regular barrel ones won't give the good tight curls. The smaller the piece of hair, the tighter curl you get. The bigger the piece, the looser the curl. If your hair is annoying and doesn't hold a curl, make sure you spray it with hairspray after or prep it with mousse. Leaving the curling iron on your hair too long damages your hair. LEAVE IT NO LONGER THAN 30 SECONDS. Also be careful of your fingers and to to burn them. That is very bad. Mine came with a weird glove thing that protects your 3 fingers but I don't use it. I just *carefully* wrap it around. If you have any questions just leave a comment and I'll answer it. Hope this helped and MERRY CHRISTMAS! :)

Crushes

Ok so I haven't blogged in a while, and I know that no one really reads this but I really want to talk about crushes. So crushes are really frustrating. You like him, but then you don't want to talk to him, you don't really know what to do. And then there is that heart breaking moment when another girl comes in and takes him away. The important thing to do is get over it. There are guys every where. You need to move on and you can't just be focused on one person. Another thing to remember is just be yourself and don't stalk him. No one likes a person who comments on everything on Facebook or likes all of your pictures. And don't text him all the time. Wait a few days in between. That's all for now, just wanted to get a blog in before tomorrow.

Pressure and how to deal with it

If you are in high school, you probably are feeling a lot of pressure now from your parents, your friends, your teachers, everyone. You want to get into a good school, you want to play sports, you want to hang with friends, but one person is only capable of so much! If you are feeling pressure from your parents to do well in school, you need to make sure that you get all of your homework done on time and if you can, do it early. If you get things done early, that leaves you with more free time. when you have a huge test, make sure you don't cram the night before or the say of. It just makes things more stressful and will probably result in a lower grade. If you are feeling pressure from your friends for whatever reason (to be popular, do certain things that you aren't into ect.) just listen to your better judgement. If you know what you are doing is bad, don't do it. Only do things you know are ok and feel comfortable with. If your friends are trying to get you do bad things (i.e. drugs, drinking, ect.) you need to find new friends and don't get caught up with that stuff. Remember what you do now effects what your future is like. I hope this helped and hope that I get to post more posts more often!
